CoEnzyme Q10 aka CoQ10 (Ubiquinone) aka (Liposome CoEnzyme) : - The most efficient manner in which to protect the skin from lipid peroxidation. What is Lipid Peroxidation? Lipid peroxidation (LPO) is a free radical-related process that is associated mostly with cellular damage as a result of oxidative stress. It is the reaction of fats and oils with oxygen to form peroxides. As the skin is the third most fatty organ in the body, it is little wonder that the effects of lipid peroxidation should manifest itself as wrinkles and brown "age spots", which are a direct by-product of lipid peroxidation. CoEnzyme Q10 - Water and Phospholipids and Ubiquinone. With the new, more advanced delivery systems you can really take advantage of the power of actives by getting them past the top layers of dead skin and into the tissues where they are needed. CoEnzymeQ10 Lipid peroxidation (LPO) is a free radical-related process that is associated mostly with cellular damage as a result of oxidative stress. It is the reaction of fats and oils with oxygen to form peroxides. As the skin is the third most fatty organ in the body, it is little wonder that the effects of lipid peroxidation should manifest itself as wrinkles and brown ‘age spots’, which are a direct by-product of lipid peroxidation. The power of ubiquinone now in a delivery system because 1% in the tissues where it can be effective is better than 100% that just sits on the top in the dead layers of skin.

What is CoEnzymeQ10? CoQ10, as it is often called, has at least three important roles in the body. It is part of the inner membrane of the mitochondria, which is the power station of the cells. It is also involved in the formulation of the energy-storing adenosine tri-phosphate (ATP) in the citric acid cycle. Thirdly, CoQ10 is an antioxidant. It helps neutralize harmful free radicals, which is a key function in prevention of premature aging.

When do I need it? Various factors, such as aging, stress and some medications, can lower the levels of CoQ10 in the body. As a result, the ability of cells to withstand stress and regenerate declines. Unfortunately, the levels of CoQ10 in the body almost inevitably decline with age. In fact, CoQ10 is regarded as one of the most accurate biomarkers of aging since its decline correlates so well with the aging process. In some studies, rodents treated with supplemental CoQ10 lived up to 30 percent longer than their untreated counterparts. In most people over thirty, levels of CoQ10 in the skin are below optimum, resulting in lesser ability to produce collagen, elastin and other important skin molecules. CoQ10-depleted skin is more prone to damage by free radicals, which are particularly abundant in the skin since it is exposed to the elements.

Boosts skin repair and regeneration. Reduces damage by free radicals, such as brown "age spots" and wrinkles. Small particle size penetrates skin cells relatively easily.

DMAE is an amazing nutrient that extends the life of cells, inhibits the cross linking of proteins, which gives the skin a tone and firm appearance. The firm appearance that DMAE can bring to the skin occurs within about 20 minutes and wears off by the end of the day. DMAE has become very popular as a result of Dr. Nicholas Perricone, M.D.'s top-selling book, The Wrinkle Cure, in which he promotes supplementing with DMAE as a treatment for reducing wrinkles. When applied to the skin DMAE would stimulate acetylcholine release which would trigger a response in the muscles of the face. This activity creates a firmer facial tone and less sagging.

Evening Primrose Oil: Evening Primrose Oil is good as a natural source of the essential fatty acid, Gamma Linolenic Acid, which is needed by the body. Essential fatty acids are critical in the production of prostaglandins. In the body prostaglandins help regulate fat metabolism, inflammatory response, hormones, as well as the cardiovascular, immune and central nervous systems. Modern diets and lifestyles may block the conversion of the essential fatty acid LA into GLA. Evening Primrose Oil is especially helpful in treating premenstrual syndrome (PMS), menstrual cycle irregularities, menopause, and endometriosis. It is used to promote smooth skin and to treat actopic eczema. It is also used in the treatment of arthritis, particularly rheumatoid arthritis, and to improve proper joint function. It is also useful in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, Mastalgia (breast pain), prostatic hypertrophy, gastrointestinal disorders, viral infections, Alzheimer's, cardiovascular disease, and hypertension.

Essential Oils: Fragrant oils obtained from plants. Essential oils are distinguished from those known as fixed oils, which are mainly triglycerides of fatty acids. Essential oils have been obtained from over 3000 plants and are designated and defined by the plant species and sometimes the geographical location. The sources of these oils are diverse, including flower petals (for example, rose and jasmine), spices (cinnamon and ginger), pine oil and turpentine, and citrus fruit peels. Compounds present in the juice that may contribute to the distinctive flavor of a fruit or berry are not, strictly speaking, components of the essential oil. Chemically, essential oils are extremely complex mixtures containing compounds of every major functional-group class. The oils are isolated by steam distillation, extraction, or mechanical expression of the plant material; often only certain parts, such as roots, buds, leaves, or flower petals, are used. Essential oils have been produced and used for flavoring, incense, Aromatherapy, and medicinal purposes for many centuries.

Fragrance Oils (vegan) are created fragrances (they can be completely lab created or blends of EOs, FOs, etc to achieve specific scents not found in nature) and do not offer the therapeutic benefits that essential oils alone can offer. Some of the reasons why fragrance oils may be used over essential oils are...some plants are endangered from over-harvesting (such as sandalwood) and could face extinction due to over-harvesting and illegal trade (rather than add to this problem available fragrance oils are substituted), some scents do not exist as an essential oil (examples: there is no such thing as a lilac EO, apple pie EO, etc.), many popular scents must be created or made from a blend to mimic a specific scent. Lastly some essential oils, though have a lovely scent are too costly, can not be safely used on the skin and some specifically are not recommended for use with certain physical conditions. So fragrance oils are used in their place to achieve the identical scents or blend. There are neither heath benifits nor hazards to the use of fragrance oils. All of our fragrance oils are cosmetic grade and most are oil "blends" which are made to mimic certain specific scents. Fragrance Oils: Also known as aroma oils, aromatic oils, and FLAVOR OILS, are blended synthetic aroma compounds or natural essential oils that are sometimes diluted with a carrier like vegetable oil. Aromatic oils are used in perfumery, cosmetics, flavoring of food, and in aromatherapy.

Constituents of the seed extract and pulp are: flavonoids, Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), tocopherols, citric acid, limonoids, sterols, and minerals.

Grape seed Oil (Vitis Vinifera) : Grape Seed extract is derived from the small seeds of red grapes of the same sort used to make wine. The Grape Seed extract is rich in flavonoids; phytochemicals which have antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are believed to safeguard cells against the ravages of unstable oxygen molecules called free radicals, and prevent numerous ailments. Commonly known as PCOs (procyanidolic oligomers),they are the most valuable flavonoid in Grape Seed extract. Besides their antioxidant powers, PCOs are thought to improve blood circulation and help strengthen blood vessels, which is particularly beneficial to those suffering from heart disease and cancer. Pycnogenol (pik-NODGE-en-all) is an alternative source of PCO. Experts have compared the health benefits with those of Grape Seed Extract, and many research studies examining the therapeutic effects of PCOs have found it to be helpful, and in some cases more useful than Grape Seed extract; however, it is more expensive. PCO containing drugs are prescribed for various vascular (vessel) disorders that are likely to benefit from increased blood flow, such as diabetes, leg cramps, varicose veins, arm and leg numbness or tingling and even impotence. The effects of improved circulation has been shown to be beneficial for those with macular degeneration and cataracts, and can reduce eye strain. Grape Seed extract can also block the release of the pain and inflammation causing chemical, prostaglandins, in those with endometriosis. It also acts as a natural antihistamine to control the sneezing and congestion associated with allergic reactions. The antioxidant power of Grape Seed extract helps protect muscle cells from damage associated with fibromyalgia. It is also used as an ingredient in facial creams to help maintain skin elasticity.

This Super Anti-Oxidant combats the effects of free radicals in the body and on the Skin. Free radicals are highly unstable molecules that are produced in the body as by-products of the natural aging process and environmental factors, such as pollution, pesticides, stress and overexposure to sunlight. Recent scientific studies have shown that the buildup of free radicals can accelerate the aging process as it contributes to skin wrinkling, loss of body flexibility, reduction in vision and sexual dysfunction. The Green Tea Extract contains polyphenols, powerful compounds that include Epigallo-catechin-3 gallate (or EGCG), an antioxidant that is about 100 times more potent than vitamin C and 25 times more potent than vitamin E. It has been shown that Organic Green Tea supplies greater antioxidant activity against the peroxyl radical (the most common type of free radical) than broccoli, carrots, spinach or strawberries. Both Amla Fruit and Grapeseed are also excellent free radical eliminators. Try our Green Tea, Super Anti-Oxidant, Cleanser for anti-aging, to support the Defense mechanism of body and to rejuvenate.

Hyaluronic Acid or AHA (Sodium Hyaluronate) Vegan Approved - is one of the most exciting ingredients on the market today. Hyaluronic Acid was discovered by Karl Meyer in 1934 and has been successfully used in personal care and wound healing. Until the 1990s the only method of producing hyaluronic acid was extracting it from rooster combs. Currently there are two forms of hyaloronic acid on the market: one from rooster combs and the other by fermentation in the lab. Essential Wholesale only uses the vegan approved lab created version. Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the extracellular matrix of human tissue. Topically applied hyaluronic acid forms an air permeable layer and penetrates into the dermis, thus boosting the elasticity and hydration of the skin. The protective breathable barrier on the skin locks in moisture which gives the skin a youthful appearance. The cuticular layer of the skin normally contains 10-20% water, however as we age it can drop to below 10%. Hyaluronic acid comes to the rescue with its unique ability to hold more than 1000 ml of water per gram of hyaluronic acid, which is a key factor in allowing the skin to retain more water. Amazingly, hyaluronic acid adjusts its moisture absorption based on the relative humidity in the air. It is the ideal ingredient in skin care products as it adjusts to the skins need for a moisturizing effect depending on the relative humidity of seasons and climate of an area. Hyaluronic acid also protects the epidermis by scavenging reactive oxygen species generated by ultra violet light which would normally cause sunspots.

When applied directly to the skin it softens the skin, reduces wrinkles and stretch marks, lightens and helps heal scars, and promotes healthy scalp and hair. Jojoba oil replicates sebum, which is secreted by human sebaceous glands to lubricate and protect the skin and hair. During the aging process, sebum production decreases. Pollutants or environmental stresses also cause a reduction in sebum. Using Jojoba oil can condition hair and prevent it from becoming brittle and dull. If there is too much sebum buildup on the scalp, Jojoba oil can dissolve it. Jojoba oil can also remove sticky buildup on hair from hair products. On skin, it forms a lipid layer acting as a moisturizer, as well as penetrating and being absorbed by the outer layer of skin. Besides water and sodium it is one of the most prominent compounds in our bodies. It is an odorless, tasteless, white water soluble, crystalline solid in its purified form. MSM supplies sulfur to the body which allows it to heal itself. It produces muscle relaxation and reportedly a whole host of beneficial qualities. It has been used with great success in eliminating chronic pain, muscle pain, repairing cut, scraped, burned and damage skin. We've seen reports of MSM eliminating wrinkles, brown spots, and spider veins. MSM is being used for burn victims and repairing scar tissue. Many people report relief from allergies after using MSM. Other reports indicate that MSM will remove parasites from the body, and help the body to detoxify itself. MSM or methylsulfonylmethane, is an important nutrient. It is needed by the body for healthy connective tissues and joint function, proper enzyme activity and hormone balance, MSM is as important as vitamin C in our diet and unlike the bad sulfurs (sulfas, sulfates, sulfites and sulfides) it is non-allergenic and has no interfering pharmacological effects. If taken internally, you cannot overdose with MSM - the body will use what it needs and flush out the rest. MSM cleans the blood stream, so allergies to foods or pollens can possibly be eliminated, sometimes in just a few days. Oils and Fats : All oils and fats are complex compounds called triglycerides. All oils and fats are a mixture of triglycerides with a different fatty acid attached. To further explain, an oil molecule is formed from one glycerin molecule and three fatty acid molecules. All fatty acid molecules are lipophilic and hydrophilic. Lipophilic means that it has a great affinity for oil. Hydrophilic means that it has a great affinity for water. The glycerin component of an oil or fat is an alcohol with three locations on its molecule where the hydrophilic molecule of the fatty acids attaches. The hydrophilic molecules are attracted to water which helps the water "wet" the surface to be cleaned, permitting the water to reach more of the surface. With out the 'wetting" assistance of the hydrophilic molecules the product would bead up on the skin and not soak the surface. The lipophilic molecules act like a magnet and are attracted to dirt and oils, they embed into the dirt and remove it. The lipophilic molecules show affinity toward oil and the molecules squeeze together in an attempt to escape water. The action of the hydrophilic molecules and the lipophilic molecules allows product to break the surface tension and forces water into the skin, allowing it to and remove the dirt and oils beyond your skin surface.

With the new, more advanced delivery systems you can really take advantage of the power of actives by getting them past the top layers of dead skin and into the tissues where they are needed. CoEnzymeQ10:: The most efficient manner in which to protect the skin from lipid peroxidation. What is Lipid Peroxidation?:: Lipid peroxidation (LPO) is a free radical-related process that is associated mostly with cellular damage as a result of oxidative stress. It is the reaction of fats and oils with oxygen to form peroxides. As the skin is the third most fatty organ in the body, it is little wonder that the effects of lipid peroxidation should manifest itself as wrinkles and brown age spots, which are a direct by-product of lipid peroxidation. The power of ubiquinone now in a delivery system because 1% in the tissues where it can be effective is better than 100% that just sits on the top in the dead layers of skin. This generous mix of potent antioxidants stimulates collagen production, refines wrinkles and rebuilds damaged skin cells. Product goes to work immediately. Use daily for optimum results. Works wonders on most skin types, preferred by those with aging, damaged and undernourished skin. This contains many vitamins, fruit extracts, and most importantly CoEnzyme Q10. What is CoQ10? The most efficient manner in which to protect the skin from lipid peroxidation.

Free radicals have been associated with skin cancer and premature skin aging due to sun exposure. Most of the damage of our skin is caused by a free-radical assault from smoke, pollution and UV rays. Free radicals turn the oils of our skin rancid, which damages the collagen. Collagen is the protein fiber that serve as the building blocks of our skin. Research shows that Vitamin A encourages collagen production in the dermis, which causes the middle layers to plump out and efficiently retain moisture.

Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Palmitate) (Vitamin C Ester) : Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) is one of the most protective substances, which is involved in capturing or neutralizing free radicals, formed upon exposure to UV radiation. Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C) is Frequently used in topical skin solutions, this form of Vitamin C promotes collagen synthesis and has many antioxidant properties. Ascorbyl Palmitate is an Ester formed from Ascorbic Acid and Palmitic Acid creating a fat-soluble form of Vitamin C. In addition to its use as a source of Vitamin C, it is also used as an antioxidant food additive. Oral supplements of Ascorbyl Palmitate are less effective, due to the substance breaking down again into its components before being digested. Ascorbyl Palmitate is also marketed as "Vitamin C Ester".
